JOHN 3:16

The Vision

At its core, the goals of our campaign are to facilitate growth for our church, serve the visitors we’ve yet to meet, and maximize our impact in the community at the same time. Tangibly, this will be done by raising the finances necessary to move into a larger building by way of the sacrificial giving by our church from November 2018 to December 2020. Spiritually, we believe that this move will open future doors for us to spread the Gospel of Jesus to a community in need of redemption. We have faith that by increasing our all-around facilities, that the church will be able to grow in numbers, achieve greater impact in reaching those who perhaps aren’t yet believers, and use our resources to increase our investment into city renewal.

In order to bring our church community together, relieve stress on our volunteers and maximize or worship experience, our sanctuary will ideally seat 300-500 people. The facility will include a larger space for the Epiphany Kids ministry, including a nursery, so that we can effectively, comfortably and safely serve youth of all ages. Providing adequate office space is also within the plan for a new space, this will support counseling, staff usage, and give opportunities for ministry trainings and meetings.

Epiphany Church is seeking to move into a new facility close to public transportation, as well as within our targeted area of Bedford Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. Although we are grateful for our current location, it does hinder us in our ability to grow. We are currently at three services and if we continue with our growth percentage we will need to keep adding services to keep up.
